PRIVACY POLICY

Your details,
handled with care.

What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Meditation Gold Coast is run by Rich Muir in Currumbin Valley, Queensland. This page explains in plain language how personal information is handled when you use this website, get in touch, book a call or reserve a course. Last updated 8 October 2026.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus some general information about how the website is used.

Why we collect it

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Health and other sensitive information

You never have to share health information to make an enquiry. If you do tell Rich about your health or circumstances, it is used only to respond to you and to teach you appropriately. It is kept private and is not shared with anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.

Student stories on this website are published only with the writer's permission.

Services we use

A small number of outside services help run this website. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy.

Some of these companies store information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies

Google and Microsoft Clarity place cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.

How we look after it

Enquiries and reservations are sent over an encrypted connection and are kept in password-protected email and website accounts that only Rich and the people who maintain this website for him can access. We keep your information for as long as it is needed to respond to you, run your course and support your practice, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Send a message through the contact form and Rich will respond personally.

Questions or concerns

If you have a question about this policy or are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact Rich first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If the way we handle information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
