Learn it once. Keep it for life.
Five sessions. A personal mantra, an effortless technique, the science of why it works, and a check-in two weeks later. Then you don't need a teacher, an app or a subscription.

Not a class. A skill, taught properly, once.
People sometimes expect the price of a yoga class or an app. This is closer to learning an instrument from someone who's played it for twenty years: a few concentrated sessions, then it's yours.
Paid once. No app, no membership, no annual fee. The last meditation course most people ever need to buy.
"There is so much calm in my life now. The best investment I've ever made, hands down."
Jeff, 62, came to the course after waking convinced he was having a heart attack and realising he didn't much care. "That's when I knew something had to change." Eighteen months on he describes the practice as the foundation of getting his life back. Read Jeff's story
Apps are cheaper, at around $100 a year for as long as you keep paying. Most people stop using them within a month, which is usually why they're here.
Same technique. Pick the pace.
Every format includes your personal mantra, all five sessions and ongoing support. The difference is who's in the room and when.

A straight answer on price.
Groups are capped at six so every person gets their own initiation and real attention across the weekend. That's the whole reason it works, and it's why this can't be priced like a class of forty.
You're also paying for what happens after: the check-in, and answers to questions for as long as you practise. A decade in, people from the first courses still email. That's included, not upsold.
If the price is the only thing in the way, say so on the call. Nobody's been turned away over money yet.

What most people notice, and roughly when.
Not promises. These are the things people report most often when they practise twice a day. Everyone's timeline is different.
Things people ask first.
If yours isn't here, the call is the place to ask it. No question is too basic; most people arrive with the same handful.
Why is it $850 when apps are $100?
An app sells you a recording. This is a person choosing a mantra for you, teaching you across a weekend in a group of six at most, checking in two weeks later, and answering questions for life. The same technique through the TM organisation costs $1,550. Concession and payment plans exist, so if money is the only obstacle, say so on the call.
What if I can't clear my mind?
You don't have to. Thoughts are part of the process and the technique works however busy your mind is. The idea that some people can't meditate usually comes from methods that ask you to suppress thoughts. This one doesn't.
How is this different from Headspace or Calm?
Apps teach mindfulness, a practice of focused attention that takes ongoing effort. Vedic Meditation is effortless by design: you get a personal mantra and a technique that lets the mind settle on its own. It's a different mechanism, not a better version of the same one.
Is this Transcendental Meditation?
Same tradition, same core technique, taught independently of the TM organisation. That's what makes it far more accessible in cost and availability. Rich is not associated with the Maharishi Foundation.
Do I need any experience?
None. It's taught from scratch, and people who've never meditated often find it easier because there are no habits to undo.
Can I do this if I'm going through a hard time?
Yes, and many people come at exactly those moments. Rich has taught people through serious illness, grief, burnout and major life changes. The call is the place to talk through your situation.
What happens after the course?
You practise twice a day on your own, 20 minutes each. There's a check-in two weeks later, then ongoing access to Rich for questions as your practice and life evolve. No fees, no subscription.
Not sure which format? Ask.
Twenty minutes with Rich to work out whether this is right for you, and if so, which way to learn it. If it isn't the right time, he'll say so.
