WHAT YOU'RE WORKING TOWARDS

A practice for
the life you actually live.

01

Understand your starting point

Talk through your current experience and what support you are looking for.

02

A roadmap you can use

Explore how meditation and mindfulness can fit the time, energy and circumstances you have.

03

A supportive hand as you go

Bring your questions and difficulties into the conversation, rather than having to solve them all yourself.

These are aims and possibilities, not guaranteed outcomes.

COULD THIS SUIT YOU?

You can start
where you are.

Mentoring is for people who are ready to make this a priority: to practise every day, turn up to every session and do the work in between. If that is you, it is the most personal support I offer.

You don't need to be “the meditating type”. You do need to be ready to commit. We will talk honestly on your call about whether it is the right fit, and if a course would suit you better, I will tell you.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

Your roadmap.
Rich alongside you.

We begin with your experience, then build a roadmap around your goals and circumstances. Rich draws on his toolkit, including Vedic meditation, mindfulness and breathing, rather than asking you to fit a single technique. The format, number of sessions and investment are agreed with you before you begin.

THE SCIENCE, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Encouraging evidence.
Honest expectations.

Meditation research informs the practices used in mentoring. That research describes results across groups rather than this programme, so I don't promise specific outcomes. What I can promise is personal guidance and an honest conversation about what is working.

Explore the wider meditation evidence
What does this mean for me?

Research describes average results across groups. It cannot predict your individual response. How you practise, your circumstances and the support you receive all matter.

If I'm struggling with my mental health?

Tell Rich about your situation before enrolling. These courses are meditation teaching, not mental health treatment, and should not replace your existing care. If a practice feels distressing, pause and discuss it with Rich and your treating professional.

EXPERIENCE, WITH A HUMAN SIDE

Serious about helping.

I came to this work through my own difficulties, so understanding where you're starting from matters to me. There is room for lightness, and an honest conversation about what has been hard.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Let's clear
a few things up.

What does mentoring cost?

Mentoring is price on application. The investment depends on the format and length of support we agree, and we discuss it openly on your call before you commit.

Who is mentoring for?

People who are ready to commit: to daily practice, to every session and to the work between them. If you would like to start with something lighter, a Vedic or Mindfulness course may suit you better.

Is this therapy?

No. Meditation teaching and mentoring do not replace mental health treatment. We can discuss suitability and how practice might sit alongside your existing care.

Do I need to learn both practices?

We can talk through your experience and needs. The support and practices included need to be agreed before you commit.
