About Rich
Wellbeing should not be complicated
Thank you for the opportunity to connect.
I’m grateful to share Vedic Meditation with people from all backgrounds, whether you’re navigating stress, seeking more clarity or performing at a high level and looking for steadiness. This tradition has supported so many across thousands of years, and it continues to offer a reliable path to inner calm and balance today.
My own journey is what brought me here. For years I lived with chronic fatigue, constant stress and periods of depression. My nervous system was overwhelmed, and I knew I wasn’t functioning the way I wanted to. That experience led me into psychological science, meditation and breathwork, where I discovered the practices that helped me restore my health and reconnect with a calmer, more resilient version of myself.
Now I teach others to do the same. My approach is simple, grounded and supportive, helping you build a lifelong skill that nurtures wellbeing, steadies the mind and strengthens resilience in daily life.

My History
A long journey to wellbeing
I live in the Currumbin Valley with my wife. We have three beautiful adult children and are almost empty nesters, although they still teach me plenty. Our days are also shared with a cat, a dog, some chickens and a few spirited horses.
Outside of teaching, I love surfing, playing music, reading and exploring the edges of consciousness. I’m passionate about helping people find their own way to calm, clarity and vitality.
I didn’t start here.
In my twenties, I was chasing success, managing a Mercedes-Benz dealership with my foot firmly on the accelerator.
In my thirties, I hit the wall. Burnout crept in as I tried to keep one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. That period opened the door to deeper questions. There had to be more to life than simply pushing through.
Later in my thirties, I launched two businesses and was introduced to meditation. It became a quiet turning point.
In my forties, I stepped into teaching Vedic Meditation, began studying Psychological Science and trained in functional breathwork. My focus gradually shifted toward nervous system health and sustainable wellbeing.
Now in my fifties, I find myself here with a sense of softness, clarity and presence I never imagined possible. It is a privilege to share these practices with others and support them in creating the same steadiness and inner strength in their own lives.
